There are certain health issues or problems that men are not comfortable talking about with their primary care physician. One such health problem is male sexual dysfunction, which can include symptoms such as low libido, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and other similar symptoms. Although many men know that these problems are common, yet they take weeks, months, or even years to get in touch with their physician to discuss these symptoms.
The good thing is, today doctors, understand quite well what normal male sexual function is and what abnormal male sexual function is. This has allowed them to help men make changes in their lifestyle that aids in healthy male sexual function. In this blog, we will tell you some key things about male sexual function and its problems. What are those things? Let’s find out.
Sexual Problems Are Often Linked With Medical Problems
If you notice any changes in your libido, ejaculation, or erection, you should let your primary care physician know about it. Your physician needs to know about these changes because sexual dysfunction signs lasting for several months often indicate a more serious medical condition. For example, in many cases, medication, urinary conditions, or nerve damage have contributed toward early ejaculation in men. If you have diabetes, one of the first signs you might notice in your body is a change in libido or erection. Hormonal imbalance, prostate cancer, or heart-related issue can also lead to problems related to erection or libido.
Your Mental Health Can Affect Your Sexual Function
Men need to understand that mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, and other psychiatric illnesses are not good for their sexual health. Doctors have found that there is a strong connection between depression and erectile dysfunction. So, before you look for treatment or medications to fix your sexual function, we will advise you to first address your mental

Hence, iron deficiency is a pretty common thing in the women population. You might be astonished to learn about the number of symptoms that are related to vitamin deficiency that you might overlook in your day-to-day life. Therefore, its imperative for women to invest in quality vitamins and supplements online for holistic daily nutrition.
Vitamin Deficiencies and Their Symptoms
Calcium
As mothers and caretakers of the family, we often tell our kids and older family members to drink their portion of milk daily to meet their calcium requirements. However, surprisingly most women miss out on this essential vitamin. As per a statistic, one in every two women over the age of 50 is likely to break a bone due to osteoporosis. In addition to the loss of bone density, calcium deficiency also affects heart, muscle, and nervous system functioning. Some of the other symptoms include joint aches, slowed pace of walking and moving around, frequent breaks and cracks in bones, and low energy levels.
Posted: July 13, 2021Categories: SupplementsAccording to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, about 52% of adults in the United States reported using nutritional supplements in 2011-2012, among which 1 in 3 (31%) people took multivitamins. However, there remains a lot of confusion about which supplements are of real value to our health. At the Natural Health Solutions Center, we use Applied Kinesiologic Testing to confirm the benefits of various supplements for our clients prior to their use. This testing system is common to Naturopathic Physicians and many Herbalists. Through this system, we have been able to confirm that well-made supplements from good companies do have many important benefits to health. However, there are also many poorly made supplements that do not offer significant benefits. Applied Kinesiologic, or Muscle Response, Testing allows us to tell the difference.
Multivitamin & Mineral Supplements
For example, most vitamin-mineral supplements are made from chemicals derived in part from coal tar. While the components of these supplements may fit the chemical description for Vitamins A, B, C, D, etc., these are not in a form that your body can use. So, when we test our clients on them, they usually test slightly negative (commonly from 0 to minus 20% strength change) on these synthetic supplements. When we test them on our whole foods base Vitamin-Mineral Supplement (Life Force by Source Naturals), it will almost always test between 50 and 100% positive strength increase. This increase in strength is confirmation that your body will benefit from (i.e.: Needs) the ingredients in this supplement. Unfortunately, the labels of these 2 supplements look very similar, so the label is not of much help in determining if a supplement will be beneficial. This
Posted: January 27, 2021Categories: SupplementsRead moreMany people seek to improve their human growth hormone balances in hopes that this will increase their muscle mass and strength, improve libido, reduce weight, boost energy levels, and keep them looking youthful. To help you understand What human growth hormone (HGH) is, we have covered the primary things you need to know about it in this guide. Let’s check it out:
What is Human Growth Hormone?
The body produces HGHnaturally in the pituitary gland. As the name suggests, its primary function is cell growth and regeneration. Without it, the body can’t increase muscle mass and bone density. When it is secreted, it remains in the bloodstream for only a few minutes. But that time is enough for the liver to absorb it and turn it into growth factors, notably IGF-1. Unfortunately, like many hormones, HGH declines as we age. While you can increase the production of this hormone naturally to some degree through proper exercise, nutrition, and sleep, there are limits to this as we age. Fortunately, selected nature based supplements can be beneficial in maintaining reasonable levels of HGH in the body.
How Much Human Growth Hormone Do You Produce Naturally?
Healthy adult men usually have less than 5 nanograms of GH per milliliter circulating in the bloodstream. Women, on the other hand, can produce twice that amount for child-bearing purposes. The level of human growth hormone in your body is at its peak early in your life and drops continually as you get older.
What are the Benefits of Human Growth Hormone?
HGH can help build, maintain, and repair healthy tissues in the brain and other organs in the body. It also helps speed up healing after an injury and boosts muscle recovery

It also helps to keep your bones and cartilage healthy.
Unfortunately, collagen levels decline with age, causing wrinkles and sagging skin, among other issues. Over the past few years, collagen supplements have received a lot of attention as a potential remedy for age-related skin changes. It has joined the category of targeted nutritional supplements that people take on a regular basis for enhanced health and a better sense of well-being.
In this blog, we will cover some more specific benefits of supplementing your collagen intake:
Enhanced Skin Health
As mentioned above, aging slows down the body’s ability to produce collagen. This may ultimately cause fine lines, dry skin, and wrinkles. A number of studies have exhibited the effectiveness of collagen supplements in slowing down age-related skin issues. In one particular study, women who consumed beverages containing collagen supplements for the duration of 12 weeks had more hydrated skin and lighter wrinkles in comparison to the control group.
Another study found evidence that collagen supplements may encourage the body to ramp up its own collagen production. In addition, it should also work wonders for your hair and nails!
Keeps Joint Pain At Bay
Collagen boosts the health of your cartilage, which is the tissue responsible for the protection of your joints. With age, you run the risk of suffering from joint disorders such as osteoarthritis. However, consuming collagen supplements may help to make up for any protein deficit and, thus, relieve pain. Activities of daily living such as walking and getting up from a sitting position should

After all, the skin is the largest organ of the body that plays a crucial role in many bodily functions as well as your appearance. One of the things that skin experts may recommend is to minimize exposure to the sun, as the UV rays from the sun damage your skin. Although this is true, you still need 10-15 minutes of the sun so that the body can produce Vitamin D throughout the skin.
Vitamin D helps keep your skin look youthful and healthy. However, Vitamin D alone doesn’t do much good. Many other vitamins also play a crucial role in keeping your skin healthy and youthful. Here are 4 vitamins that you should include in your diet, whether in the form of essential vitamin supplements or foods:
Vitamin C
Vitamin is a key ingredient found in anti-aging cream and other skincare products. Present at high levels in the epidermis, which is the outermost layer of skin, and dermis, the inner layer of skin, it helps in collagen production and has cancer-combating properties. Make sure your diet includes vitamin C if you want to keep your skin healthy and supple. You can also support your diet with essential vitamin supplements.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant, which helps fight against sun damage. This is why it’s a common ingredient in sun protection creams and other skincare products. When applied to the skin, it helps absorb the harmful ultraviolet rays and promotes photoprotection, which refers to the body’s ability to curb UV rays damage. Generally, the body produces this vitamin through sebum, which is an oily substance produced in the skin. Sebum keeps the skin moisturized and prevents dryness. If you have dry skin, consuming vitamin E supplements bought from a reliablePosted: August 04, 2020Categories: SupplementsRead more1. Posted: July 31, 2020Categories: SupplementsRead morePopularly known as the “sleep hormone” because of its ability to help you get a good night’s sleep, melatonin does so much more than regulate your body’s clock. The health benefits of the hormone are many, ranging from keeping your diabetes in check to maintaining good cardiovascular health. It even has anti-cancer and anti-aging properties. Furthermore, it aids an array of metabolic functions like strengthening your immune system and boosting your anti-inflammatory defenses.
The production of this hormone reduces as you age and this decline is directly related to the speeding up of the aging process and overall health deterioration. Let’s take a more detailed look at the many health benefits of melatonin:
Antioxidant Properties
Melatonin was discovered about 50 years ago and since then various studies have been conducted to determine its benefits for the human body. The antioxidant property of this molecule is one of its studied attributes. Research shows that it plays a significant role in strengthening the body’s ability to fight against free radicals that damage your cells. Research shows that melatonin is more effective in dealing with oxidative stress and damage than vitamins C or E. Diseases resulting from free radicals, like Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), and Sepsis have responded positively to enhanced levels of melatonin.
Anticarcinogenic Properties
Research shows that Melatonin is also anticarcinogenic, meaning that it aids in preventing cancer. It also helps stop the growth and multiplication of cancer cells, and aids is promoting the natural cell death of cancerous cells. The process is referred to as apoptosis. The anti-cancer properties of melatonin may be attributed to its antioxidant, hormone
Posted: July 24, 2020Categories: SupplementsRead moreFor many people, consuming dietary supplements has become a way of life. In fact, most people are becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of popping a capsule daily, after getting to know of a particular dietary supplement from their physician, dietician, friend, or simply while browsing through social media.
This is not an assumption; according to a survey conducted by CRN in 2017, more than 76% of Americans consume supplements on a regular basis. There is a pervading idea that even if health supplements don’t do anything, at least they won’t cause harm to one’s well-being.
There can be major differences in the quality, bioavailability, and efficacy of supplements, even if the ingredients shown on the bottle are very similar. Many cheaper, commercially available, supplements are made from synthetic chemicals that your body cannot use effectively. A better alternative is to take natural health supplements that are made from high-quality, whole foods and organic ingredients.
Natural health supplements have many different health benefits. In addition to boosting your energy, they can strengthen your muscles, bones, and joints, as well as enhance the functioning of your immune system. This last ability is particularly important now in keeping you safe during the Corona Virus Pandemic. But that’s not all; they can also help in tackling specific issues. Let’s take a look at some of them.
1. Keeps allergies at bay
Seasonal allergies can affect a person’s quality of life to a great extent. Yet, this
